Central Illinois West Coast Swing Practice Night.

Hello Dancers,

 

 

No surprises this week.  Everything is the same this week. 7 pm until ?????????? at Chantilly Lace.

 

 

Several of you have brought situations/issues to my attention over the last couple weeks. I get that you are wanting to make Wednesday night dance practice more enjoyable and less stressful. For this I thank you. And still there are others that have stopped coming or have not come b/c of the following. 

1)     Some women feel uncomfortable asking man to dance. What if anything would (improve their odds of getting a yes) make this easier and less threatening? 

2)     Some couples would prefer to dance with their significant other only. What if anything can we do to accommodate them?

3)     Some couples would like to dance only with the one they brought and a select group of others. What if anything can we do to accommodate them?

4)     Some men feel uncomfortable asking women to dance who are with her significant other.

 

I welcome any suggestions you may have regarding how to overcome this reoccurring issue.

I will update you via email with the suggestions that come in.
